Dear Friends,

I would like to take the time to welcome you to our web site, our church and our community. It is so wonderful to be able to say “our." It does not seem as if I have only been the Pastor of United Monmouth Church and East United Methodist Church for two weeks! I feel at home already. The kindness of the people, the lovely lakes and forests as well as all the farmland make this a wonderful place to live and worship together. I can see God’s hand in every field, lake, loon and cow!

If you are new to the area or our church, I invite you to join us for worship on Sunday morning. Together we look for the sacred in our everyday experiences. We strive to serve God and each other in all our activities. With music, fellowship and humor, we seek to understand the mysteries of life. God has certainly blessed each of us and our churches, and it is an honor to gather and offer our hearts, souls and minds to our Creator.

Our Sunday service is at 10:00 a.m. We hold our children’s education programs on Friday between 6:00 p.m.and 7:30 p.m.but love to see our kids and their music, drama and art highlighted during the children‘s time on Sunday morning. We would love to meet new friends, so don’t hesitate! All are welcome!
